On May 5th we will be voting on a Constitutional Amendment and a a package of bills that will go into effect if the Amendment is approved.
The Proposal will increase the sales tax from 6% to 7%, raise taxes on fuel and raise registration taxes on our vehicles.
It will also, increase the Earned Income tax credit. Overall it will be a 17% increase in the tax rate.
As a taxpayer, can you afford these additional taxes? In addition is it wise to add a constitutional amendment, so that all the special interest groups will get there fair share.
All I wanted was that the potholes got fixed. VOTE NO ON MAY 5th.
