Cool! You decided you want to make a difference!
Well, when you meet with your State legislator to lobby him/her on an issue you don't want to be late because you got lost. To help you out we've posted a map showing the key buildings in Lansing, Michigan.
Not only do we show you where these building are, we also show you a couple of good places to park (marked with blue "P"). Our map is color-coded as follows:
- Red marker - State Capitol
- House and Senate Leadership has their offices here
- Yellow marker - Anderson House Office Building (also referred to as HOB)
- State House Representatives have their offices here.
- Green marker - Farnum Building
- State Senators have their offices here.
- Purple marker - Romney Building
- Governor's office is here
Lastly, you can get driving directions to any of these buildings by clicking on any colored marker. You'll then be prompted to enter the address of your starting point. After that you'll get your customized directions taking you to your elected representatives for the State of Michigan.
When you arrive at your destination just ask the Security Guard at the front desk for the floor and office number of your State Representative or your State Senator.
